Digital Projection, a subsidiary of Imax Corporation, provided 20 ultra bright projection systems for the taped for television Blockbuster Awards. The show aired June 20 on the FOX Network. The set design located in L.A. at the Shrine Auditorium incorporated 20 DPI Power & Lightning displays for video playback, set “wall paper” and live image magnification of presenters and performers. More than a dozen large screens were incorporated on the set and complemented with dramatic lighting techniques.
