Spin Productions has completed work on CastleRock’s new motion picture “Bait” starring funny/crass man, Jamie Foxx as well as David Morse, Doug Hutchinson, and Robert Pastorelli. An action comedy, the movie was released across the nation on September 15. Senior Inferno Artists, Keith Adams and Kurt Oakley from Atlanta worked with Spin Entertainment’s President, Norm Stangl from Toronto. Spin Atlanta contributed with multiple special effects scenes. Directed by Antione Fuqua (Replacement Killers), the film features Foxx who is used as bait (hence the title) to catch a gold thief. When Foxx is arrested for stealing a truckload of prawns, he is thrown into the cell with… the gold thief himself. As the thief is dying, he lets out those prophetic last words too cryptic to understand. Thus the story for the gold search begins. Various live action plates were shot on film and high definition to create elements that were then composited and manipulated to create photo-realistic effects.
