Making the ubiquitous Barney a little more hip was the task at hand for Clockwork Advertising, the brand advertising division of Adair-Greene. The team created the print image campaign for the baby apparel line, “Barney for Baby” as well as “Barney’s Worldwide Collection” toddler apparel line. Lyrick® Studios in Dallas will launch the new apparel lines this fall.

“It was time to make Barney a little more hip,” said Sue Beddingfield, Vice-President of Marketing for Lyrick. The campaign, titled “Oversize” features an oversized object with the product and talent merged into that object. For the “Barney for Baby” execution, an oversized diamond ring is used with an infant placed where the diamond should be. The headline reads, “Precious.”
