New hires are keeping busy at Sawyer Riley Compton (SRC). No boredom when your competencies are a list including copywriting, art direction, account management, media planning, production, and public relations. Katy Eckman Davids is a new Copywriter for the agency. The self admitted “word nerd” once covered the agency as an outsider while she was a reporter for Adweek. A graduate of both the Portfolio Center and The University of Missouri, Davids has a degree in Journalism and Advertising. Another new hire, Rick Bryson is working on the CNN News Source and The Ritz-Carlton accounts as an Art Director. Bryson graduated from Western Carolina University where he studied Graphic Design. Studio Production Director, Todd Burrell came to SRC from Clarion Marketing where he was Vice President and Production Manager. At SRC, Burrell will head up the Macintosh production studio and will work with all client creative jobs.
Andrea Brooks has joined the account management crew as an Account Supervisor for The Ritz-Carlton account on which she will provide strategic recommendations. A graduate of George Mason University, Brooks hails from the Washington and Los Angeles offices of TBWA/Chiat/Day. Adding to the Ritz team will be Alison Simmons who began her career at Rutland, Simmons Group in Memphis and graduated from Washington and Lee University, has worked with both WestWayne and Austin Kelley . Lisa Seneff will be working with James Hardie Building Products and the Atlanta Ballet as an Account Executive. Formerly with J. Walter Thompson, Seneff graduated from Davidson College. Her colleague Allison Noznesky, also a graduate of Davidson, once worked on The Moscow Times and will now be working on a domestic account, The Ritz. Kimberly Shaw joins the team as Assistant Media Planner and will work on the James Hardie Building Products, The Ritz and net32.com accounts. Stephen Mitchell, previously with Fletcher Martin Ewing, joins as Director of Production Services. Holly Scott becomes new Assistant Public Relations Counselor while Kathleen DeMarco joins as Media Relations Manager. DeMarco will work across client lines on initiatives with the PR counselors, the creatives and the account wing of the agency.
