Director/DP, Herb Kossover recently completed a series of promotional spots for the Fox 5 news team. The spots entitled, “Dedicated, Determined, Dependable-Phase Three,” were concepted and edited by Fox’s Promotion Manager, Chris Conroy. The spots feature a behind the scenes look at the news team with anchor lead ins. Kossover shot hand held footage in the newsroom, edit bays, and control room to capture the live feel of the news arena. He created a ‘gritty’ look by skip-bleaching the 16mm negative. The anchors were shot in 35mm and warmed up in transfer with primary colors by colorist Ron Anderson of CineTransfer.
