Little Mammoth Media got something big. Their award winning children’s video on Yellowstone National Park, “The Big Park,” recently reeled in the 2000 Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Golden Seal. A live action adventure, “The Big Park” takes kid viewers behind the scenes of America’s first national park. The video features close-ups of many of the park’s critters from endangered wolves, to bison, antelope, elk, long-horn sheep, moose, and grizzly bears. Also featured in the video are firefighters, park rangers, and thermal features of the park including the “Old Faithful” geyser. The video spans four seasons and delivers a message, the need to preserve this country’s wild spaces. The program was designed for children ages 3-10, but Little Mammoth swears adults will enjoy it as well. “The Big Park” is one of fourteen episodes in the “Big Adventure Series.”
