Incubate This… Incubate This…

One logo may stand for many companies. Mind’s Media opens incubated companies underneath its own umbrella.

It certainly seems to be a trend. Following the e-prefix craze comes the incubator phase. With burgeoning e-businesses, start-ups, and individual ventures, came a need and businesses have scurried to answer it.

Founder and President of Mind’s Eye Media, Joe Talentino has come up with his version of a solution. Launching an incubator program designed specifically to support and nurture new media companies, Talentino says his mission is to create a “synergistic atmosphere” for the “converging of traditional and new media.” Mind’s Eye will provide technical support, media production expertise, marketing solutions, management assistance, and funding for each of its incubator firms, enabling each incubator to support the other media incubators with specific applications in their industry. The incubator includes a conventional film/video unit as well as a digital animation group.

The incubated company, Digital Hardhat will celebrate itself on the V3 Tour which combines video, digital animation, and a 3-dimensional rendering method to allow an individual to navigate through buildings, condominiums, and office space before groundbreaking – possibly a hefty tool for real estate marketers. The “hat” has already produced four virtual tours for real estate companies in Atlanta, Florida, Kansas City, and South Carolina. The tour showcased in Atlanta at the beginning of October.

Talentino hopes to fortify his incubator program with the already existing media distribution companies with Mind’s Eye, Ambiance Entertainment Network and Mind’sEyeTV.com. Under the company’s TV/Film wing, two documentary films and one feature film are set to hatch in the fourth quarter of 2000, respectively: “World of Hurt,” “Confederacy Theory,” and “Free’zer.”
