Meggan Allen and Misty Register joined Point b as Assistant Account Executives. A graduate of Auburn University, Allen recently completed a promotions and public relations internship with Amelia Island Plantation’s marketing department. Allen will be responsible for such accounts as First Data and Kodak. Register comes to Point b from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company’s communications department. Register, a graduate of the University of South Alabama, will work on PR initiatives for Point b clients, First Data and American Megatrends.
Point b has received some kudos. The firm was recently awarded with a 2000 Gold Award from the Medical Marketing Association (MMA) for their work on Leverage Point, an external publication for client, Per-Se Technologies. The International Awards of Excellence (In-Awe Awards) honor entries based on creativity, strategic merit, and measurable results. Point b won its honor in the sales promotion and professional education category.
