Fleishman Hillard welcomes three new members to complete the healthcare team. Mimi Eckhard joins as Managing Supervisor. Sara Floor and Robin Sanford come on as Account Executives. This trio, led by Fleishman vet Elizabeth Boineau Lapham, Senior Vice President of the healthcare/technology group, will carry the ball for the healthcare group.
Eckhard joins the team with 13 years of experience in corporate public relations. Previously, she worked with Dallas based Essilor of America, Inc., a manufacturer of optical lenses. In addition to a background in healthcare, Eckhard has also worked in the energy, chemical, and nuclear communication arenas. Her development of a Gulf Coast medical supply drive for the American troops in the Persian Gulf War won her a Silver Anvil from the New Orleans Public Relations Society of America. Eckhard also reeled in the National League of Cities’ City Innovation Award for coordinating a citywide cholesterol screening program. Sara Floor relocated from New York City and comes to Fleishman from Edelman Public Relations where her accounts included two hospital administered cardiovascular products and a prescription multiple sclerosis product. Floor was part of an award winning healthcare team, which won two gold Bulldog Awards from The Bulldog Reporter for clinical trial publication media outreach. Prior to joining the new team, Floor organized a national hospital lecture series about a possible link between pediatric respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection and asthma for SCIENS Worldwide Medical Education, a division of Nelson Communications that specializes in scientific education based marketing. Robin Sanford brings four years of strategic communications experience in healthcare and business-to-business communications. She most recently served as Account Manager with Northlich Public Relations in Cincinnati, Ohio where she coordinated key patient education campaigns and physician opinion leader outreach efforts for several Procter & Gamble brands.
