Herb Silverman has joined the Oz team as Sales Consultant and will be handling ad and banner ad sales for Oz’s specialty publications. Silverman received a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago, and an MBA at Emory’s Business School. Previously, he has worked with the John Morton Company as a Consultant; the Scott Consultant Group as Associate; Emory’s Business School as Director of Alumni Relations, and LifeSouth Community Blood Center as Associate Manager of Donor Recruitment. Beyond sharpening his keen mind, Silverman is also avidly involved in volunteer associations such as the Georgia Speaking Association, National Aphasia Association, and the Jewish Community Center.
When Herb is away from his desk and off the phone, he may be standing behind a podium encouraging audiences with a deep and resonant voice or just may be lounging on a sofa indulging in some needlepoint or deeply involved in a novel of mystery. This man of many talents and ideas is a great addition to Oz’s varied, enthusiastic, and brilliant staff.
