Cinematographer, Sandi Sissel is in residence at Georgia State University and has been holding hands-on workshops with film students. One of the original sponsors of GSU’s Digital Arts and Entertainment Laboratory, Eastman-Kodak, Inc. is sponsoring the residency. Kodak has sponsored like programs at other film schools, including UCLA.

Sissel is one of the two women cinematographers featured in the 1992 documentary, “Visions of Light: The Art of Cinematography.” She has shot more than two dozen films including Academy Award nominated feature, “Salaam Bombay!” Sissel has been in the industry for nearly twenty years and her credits include: “Before Stonewall,” “The Wonder Years,” “No Secrets,” Wes Craven’s “The People Under the Stairs,” and Director/Cinematographer for “High Wire.”
