Turner Studios has proudly added Rob Sanders to its family, specifically into its sound design studios. Sanders will be the newest sound designer at the board, bringing nine years experience from Crawford Communications. He will not be foreign to many at Turner who he worked with already on promos for Turner South, Cartoon Network and CNN. His expertise in laying tracks for promotional spots has earned him two Monitor Awards, one Emmy nomination and several Promax Awards.

Craig Heyl also joins Turner Studios as Vice President of Production. In this newly created position, he will oversee all production divisions including editorial, sound design, scenic services, the film and video groups, field operations, and the studios. Heyl hails from Footage Now, an iXL company where he was Vice President of Image Technology and Operations specializing in B2B broadband media content management and distribution. Prior to that, Heyl served as Vice President of Crawford’s Post Production facility where he supervised all aspects of post production including video editorial, sound design, film transfer, and more. His TV and broadcast career began in 1988 when he worked as a News Editor and Sports Videographer for CBS Sports, ESPN, and The Nashville Network specializing in motorsports for the NHRA. As Editor, he won a New York chapter Emmy award for his documentary series, “A Light So Bright” produced in 1989.
