Graphic Designer and Illustrator, Travis N. Tom has been working on several big projects in the field of iconography. In June, Tom was contracted by Netscape Communications Corporation/AOL to design initial concepts for the Netscape 6.0 browser icons. His assignment included creating icons with a distinct flavor and a consistent look. The 5-month project yielded several icons that have made it to the final production phase with alterations by the Netscape team.

With the Netscape project and his online book, Travis’ resume has prompted contract assignments with PeopleSoft of Pleasanton, CA, Money Magazine of New York, and Documentem, Inc. also of Pleasanton. All the assignments involved Travis’ penchant and experience with icons.
