P3M Packs ‘Em In P3M Packs ‘Em In
P3M announced the addition of Michelle Oleson as Director of New Business Development, Kristin Waring as Designer, and Sheila deCastro as Account Executive, a significant expansion for the 8-year old firm’s second full service location.
Oleson enters P3M with over seven years of experience in the marketing industry. She worked as Vice President of Marketing Services for Advice Inc. of Raleigh, NC where she was responsible for securing new client accounts and developing strategic relationships with venture capitalists and investment bankers. In this role, she generated over $25 million of annualized business opportunity and was instrumental in introducing a technology component to the previously traditional advertising agency. Previously, Oleson worked with Impact Marketing, Curtis Marketing, and SFX Broadcasting, all located in North Carolina.
Waring has been honing her skills as a Graphic Designer for the last five years. She worked with CGN Marketing and Creative Services of Boston, where she designed websites, banner ads, collateral and print ads for consumer, B2B, and technology accounts. Prior to this, Waring worked as a Production Artist for Webco Printing Company where she designed, typeset, and prepared mechanicals for clients including Kroger.
DeCastro comes to P3M from J. Walter Thompson where she worked with clients including Domino’s Pizza and Saab Cars USA. In this stint, deCastro managed six Southeast markets consisting of 28 franchises and 95 stores. She was also responsible for managing advertising budgets, devising marketing and media plans to increase brand awareness and sales. Previously, she worked with The Martin Agency and The Equitable in account positions.
P3M is also busy winning accounts for Atlanta. Gator.com recently chose the firm to develop a name, a brand, and an identity that would be memorable, fun, and most importantly, would drive visitors to their site. The company, which provides online service to store user names and passwords to fill in online forms automatically, introduced their new service in only two markets, Atlanta and Seattle. P3M created a campaign using “on the road” media including MARTA buses, radio drive times, and billboards. With name and logo in hand, P3M launched Gator online with banners, contests, promotions, and affiliate programs.
With their launch this summer, Gator has received more than seven million users and traffic to the site has increased by 23 percent, prompting Media Matrix to name it the 7th Stickiest Site. The second phase will be measured through hits, conversion rates, and costs per conversion. The site was also ranked 48 in CyberAtlas’ Top 50 Sites of August 2000.
