Wiffle Ball Instead of Work Wiffle Ball Instead of Work

Yes, the overworked, overstressed CEO’s have customarily relaxed on the golf course. Unityville is offering another option. The Wiffle Ball Games, which ran for three consecutive weeks were supplemented with t-shirts, refreshments, and prizes for notable achievements including “meanest knuckleball,” “most spectacular catch,” and “longest drive.” The games were open to all new e-conomy and hi-tech leaders as well as members of the media and were held at the Water Works Lodge off Northside Drive. Running three days throughout October and into November, the Games’ mission was to provide a forum for overstressed chiefs (CEO’s, CTO’s, CMO’s, VP’s….) of internet and new e-conomy companies to cut loose and socialize with their e-contemporaries.

Engaged in the wiffle games were employees from the following companies: AmQuest, WebMD, PMG.net, Incanta, ATDC, Cityfeet.com, Atlanta Net Market Makers, MetraTech, FiberMarket.com, NetCertainty, VoiceStar Communications, IndustryXone.com, The FSL Group, Cookerly Public Relations, Leapfrog Services, Velant, Capricorn Systems, ComCore, and Eunity.
