A new attraction is coming to Stone Mountain Park and the people on the rock have chosen MATCH as their advertising agency of record. The first new major attraction to be introduced in 25 years it is scheduled to open next summer. The attraction hopes to draw children under the age of 12 with a showcase of the south of the 1850s, using technology from the current century.

In 1997, the State of Georgia privatized management of the park’s retail operations. Silver Dollar City, Inc., which operates living history parks in the Ozarks and the Great Smoky Mountains, took over operations of the Mountain. MATCH Principal and Creative Director, B.A. Albert said, “I worked on the Ozarks Silver Dollar City park before and loved their ability to bring to life the sights, sounds, and smells of the past in a fun, cool way. The new attraction at Stone Mountain Park offers that same contrast of Southern history with ‘oh, wow’ interactive technology.”

As the chosen agency of eight contenders, MATCH will be responsible for broadcast and print advertising, as well as support for all promotional and collateral materials.
