Atlanta Photographer Jill Corson became President and CEO of Advertising Photographers of America/New York (APA/NY). The experience that put her there includes work for the venture capital firm Fuqua Ventures, LLC, Cartoon Network, The National Faculty, the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, the Junior League of Atlanta, Atlanta Medical Center, and the Atlanta Constitution. Corson received a BA in Print Journalism from Georgia State University and has completed work toward a Masters in Arts Administration at New York University.
With her experience in non-profit and corporate administration as well as lifestyle photography and fine art, Corson is represented by the Raymond Lawrence Gallery of Atlanta. “APA/NY is here to help photographers thrive. I plan to build strategic partnerships between APA/NY, its members and our corporate partners, advertising agencies and other organizations in New York’s creative community,” said Corson of her new role.
