Current, Inc. has pretty high hopes for 2001 and starts the year off right, winning two new clients. General Growth Properties, Inc. has hired the company as its agency of record for the shopping center developer’s 23 malls in its Southeast Business Unit. New campaigns for the malls, extending from Florida to Pennsylvania, are scheduled to break in spring 2001. The total budget for the portfolio is over one million dollars.
Current has also been tapped by Crabtree Valley Mall, a shopping center in Raleigh, North Carolina. The agency will develop an identity for the shopping center to promote and distinguish it from new centers planned for the area. Encompassing newspaper, magazine, direct mail, on site collateral, and broadcast, the campaign is set to break in spring 2001. Budget dollars were undisclosed.
