Duffey’s Donations Duffey’s Donations

‘Twas the season of giving. Spurred by this spirit, many companies traded in or supplemented employee gifts with volunteering activities. Duffey Communications donated gifts and held a party for the Dulaney House. A temporary home for abused, abandoned, and neglected children in southwest Atlanta, the Dulaney House has been the recipient of Duffey’s holiday gifts for four years running. Duffey clients and employees have also supported the St. Jude’s Ranch for Children in Nevada as a part of their holiday cheer.

Duffey’s Senior Vice President, Eric Tanenblatt is stepping out on the town. Tanenblatt recently played host and moderator for the American Electronics Association’s (AeA) Town Hall meeting. The topic – the business agenda for Georgia’s high tech industry. Tech minds converged to deliberate on internet/e-commerce developments, taxation and financial regulations, workforce and environmental matters, and international issues. Atlanta’s meetings are part of a national effort of which Tanenblatt said, “Atlanta has been piloting technology innovations for the nation for a number of years, so it will be interesting to hear what issues will prevail.”

Tanenblatt has acted in the realm of policy before. He served as one of the presidential electors for Georgia during the 2000 Presidential Campaign. He has also handled key positions in both the legislative and executive branches of government with the office of the late U.S. Senator Paul Coverdell, the U.S. Peace Corps, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Duffey recently won two new accounts. Consumer tracking firm, ActivityPath and the human capital management/e-business solutions provider, Kenexa, chose Duffey for assistance with their national branding campaigns within their respective industries.
