Like the Limp Bizkit song, Synergy Films keeps rollin’. The team finished a busy year with a really busy December, shooting 15 spots in the last month of 2000. Jump starting their winter quarter, Synergy completed a series of spots for Jet Print Photo which aired during NFL primetime. The product from International Paper allows digital camera owners to produce prints at home. DFI, out of Los Angeles, contacted Synergy to produce the spots with a clean look, combining live action and animation. Synergy Director, George Watkins, worked with Australian Director of Photography, Guy Furner. Click 3X provided animation for the spots.

From football to church… The North American Mission Board came to Synergy to produce a campaign to attract busy people to the church community. Watkins directed; Virginia based, Creative Light concepted and wrote the spots. Atlanta talent was found at The Houghton Agency and The People Store.

From football to church to dietary supplements… By year’s end, Synergy had completed several commercial campaigns for products of Chattem Inc. including Dexatrim, Natural, Icy Hot, and Pamprin all directed by Watkins with DP, Phil Dillon. For Dexatrim Natural, Synergy traveled to the southeastern hub of beauty, Miami, bringing crew from Atlanta, hiring seconds in Miami, and flying in talent from Los Angeles. Within days, the Synergy crew returned north to Atlanta to produce the Icy Hot campaign with Connecticut based, Wrightway Creative Group. For the Pamprin campaign, Watkins teamed up with Infinitee, Inc. VP, Creative Director, David Kelker, featuring women in all their natural grace.
