FPD3 Dances in the Sun FPD3 Dances in the Sun
FPD3 was chosen by digital film production company, The Orphanage, and multimedia production company, Anonymous Content, to produce promotional materials and web presence for their short film, “Big Love.” The groundbreaking film is the first Sundance selection to use the latest 24P HD digital technology in place of traditional 35mm film. The film, to premiere in Park City, Utah at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival, uses the same technology George Lucas is using on the next Star Wars film. Frank Dreyer, FPD3 President, said, “Our focus is on the future of media and technology and where these channels converge. To be awarded this project and upcoming work for the Sundance Film Festival is a giant step for our agency.”
Continuing on FPD3’s blitz, the agency was selected by the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center (formerly Nexus Contemporary Art Center) to develop and produce marketing programs such as exhibition brochures, postcards, and artists’ exhibition books. With the campaign, FPD3 will create direct mail pieces to be delivered to thousands of members and friends of the center announcing exhibitions, special events, calendars, and membership drives. The first project delivered was a 20 page brochure announcing the exhibits of James Herbert, Jeremy Helton, and Mark Cottle that ran through the end of December.
