APC Studios won a gold plaque award in manufacturing for an entry in the International Communication Film and Video Competition (INTERCOM). Client Siemens Electronic Assembly Systems displayed the winning entry at the APEX 2000 trade show over seventeen plasma monitors in support of a live presentation. APC also took a merit award in “HOW” Magazine’s Interactive Design Competition for their interactive enhancement on 99X’s Live X CD.

For the second year in a row, APC helped Scheduling.com create a multimedia presentation for trade show display. An application service provider for the healthcare industry, Scheduling.com wanted to promote their software, specifically highlighting its efficiency and sophistication. APC managed the voice over talent audition and acquisition, music and SFX design, graphics, animation, and video post production. The AVID 8000 suite was used for offline production and the AVID 9000XL for online. Design and animation was created with 3D Studio Max and After Effects on ICE. The video presentation was compressed for CD-ROMs which were distributed to the company’s entire sales staff.
