Big Haired Lady Waves Goodbye Big Haired Lady Waves Goodbye
Goodbye’s can be sad, but they also can be fun to celebrate. Freelance Producer, Susan Dugan reunited with Director/Editor, Bill Orisich to produce a video in appreciation of the outgoing CEO of Rare Hospitality/Longhorn Steakhouse, George McKerrow. The video featured snapshots provided by friends and family with interviews and crowd footage at the original locale on Peachtree Street. Dugan and Project Manager, Kris Johnson from Whoa! wrangled interviews out of the event’s guests including the Big Haired Lady (and writer) Sarah Scharbo.
Whoa! has also been working on a series of spots for Cartoon Network’s Gamebuilder contest for Carton Network Latin America. In the contest, kids sent in their own ideas for video games using network characters. Winners were posted on the website. Whoa!’s challenge was to engage the kids, explain the contest, and provide entry information. Shot on location, the grainy spots features Ethan Orisich playing a video game with network fave Johnny Bravo. Brad Mace worked with Mary Rutt of the Cartoon Network to develop the look and Orisich cut the spots.
Whoa! was tapped by Cingular to produce eight videos for the inaugural corporate meeting. West Coast Producer Brian Tweedt orchestrated the posting of the videos in round the clock sessions with AVID Editors Fred Duffer, Will Eccelston, Will Fratesi, and Orisich.
