Building Destroyed Without a Sound Building Destroyed Without a Sound
In October 1998, MARTA knocked on Creative Sound Concepts’ (CSC) door. They wanted Plasamour and Plasamour they got. At least the part of it CSC and around 100 other business large and small (among them Crawford) were located. CSC was recently demolished and all employees were moved to a temporary location one block south of the old facility at 454 Plasamour Drive.
Though Owner Spencer Herzog might have, at one time, hoped MARTA’s move could be reconsidered, he also believes the new facility now being constructed will open up even more business and opportunity for the company whose residence had not changed in almost two decades. Phone numbers have remained the same and clients are still being serviced. Herzog expects to be in the new 7,250 square foot space at 1495 Northside Drive by late summer. Once home to Firestone, CSC’s new space is at the corner of Northside and Deering.
Creative Sound Concepts is also looking for an addition. They have 2,000 square feet to rent for a business with an AVID post. Herzog said the company is looking for a “synergistic” partner.
