If you have one good photographer you have one good photographer and if you have five good photographers… you get the picture. A group of commercial photographers and video specialists have formed under the moniker, Lightstream Image Group. Members are Ed Wolkis, Larry Thomas, Fengli and Michael Hessing. Rep resenting the group is Gene Steinberg. “They each bring their own visual style, ex perience and process, but they share the ability to illustrate the story… and sell product,” says Steinberg, “…the diversity of this talent pool combined with a shared vision will prove to be a valuable creative resource.”
Conceptual photographer Wolkis brings 20 years of experience to the group working with clients like Delta Air Lines, Turner Broadcasting, ABC-TV, IBM, Home Depot, Tribune Broadcasting, Dupont, Bell South, Famous Amos Cookies, Printing Association of Georgia, Atlanta Falcon cheer leaders, The Hawks, WSB-TV, WGNX-TV, WAGA-TV and WXIA-TV. Wolkis has built
his reputation photographing some of the who’s who in Atlanta including Monica Kaufman, Don Farmer, Chuck Dowdle, and Wes Sargenson.
Wolkis’ new partner, Larry Thomas has worked with small firm and large account alike. Past clients include Coca-Cola, Cox Communications, Zartic, Checkers, Piedmont Airlines, The Dillard House, Sit-Rite, and Phipps Plaza. Fengli brings a worldly perspective to the team. She studied industrial design and painting in Europe, following this up with a study of photographic imaging in the U.S. Rounding out the new team, Michael Hessing hails from CNN and WTBS where he worked for nearly two decades as a Video Specialist. He has both written and produced on-air television and radio promotions for several CNN networks and has worked with clients including Bernard Shaw, Wolf Blitzer, Larry King, “Business News” Editor Lou Dobbs, Ted Turner, and Jane Fonda.
