Horst’s Hits Horst’s Hits
Eddie Horst recently completed his suite in Crawford’s west wing to be used for miscellaneous live players and singers. Horst will be working with Digital Performer’s latest version. Besides “interior decoration” on his new space, Horst has been busy with several projects. Among them, an identity package for LAPTV featuring a full orchestra and singers as an introduction to their second year of broadcast. In a bi-coastal collaboration, Horst worked on a promo for the Oscars, a take off on
“Let’s All Go To The Movies.” Via e-mail, mixes were adjusted and completed with Los Angeles ABC-TV Producer, Sarah Unger.
On the corporate front, Horst completed TV and radio music for a new Simmons campaign. Voice over was done by John Madden in conjunction with agency, The Arras Group and Producer Irene Dooley of Image and Sound from Cleveland.
Horst also completed an orchestral session for the open and close of the Looney Tunes show on Cartoon Network and promos for “Sheep in the Big City” as well as a Britney Spears parody, “Whoops I Spilled the Milk.” This year, Horst will serve as Music Director for the July 4th festivities held at Lenox Square, working alongside Renee Bishop and WGCL, Channel 46.
