Real networkers know that you can never get enough. A new networking event with a new angle was recently introduced to Atlanta’s community of movers and shakers. SMASH! was introduced in Atlanta, with its first event at Midtown’s Velvet Room. Billed as the networking party “where right brainers and left brainers converge,” SMASH! cross-industry events will attempt to introduce people that might not traditionally have attended the same networking events. The first event melded the technology community with advertis ing and PR professionals and brought in over 100 guests.

SMASH! is the brainchild of a group of friends, two from our technology community, an attorney in Miami, an ad agency owner in New Orleans, and an entertainment executive in Oakland. The group plans to introduce the concept in other cities, after the Atlanta initiation which will run throughout the spring and summer including industries from real estate to banking to entertainment
