“You never know what kind of work’s going to be happening here on any given day. Our engineers certainly never get bored,” said Doppler Studio’s Studio Manager, Bill Quinn. Recent excitement at the studio included a visit from Greg Kinnear, who worked in Studio A doing an ADR for upcoming HBO movie, “Dinner With Friends.” Director of “The Hurricane” and “Moonstruck,” Norman Jewison also visited the studio with Sound Supervisor John Liang. Engineer Fay Salvaras recorded Kinnear and has recently looped episodes for “Dawson’s Creek” with local actors Mike Pniewski and Melissa Ponzio.

Engineer Granger Beem worked on a sound project with the George H. Buck Jazz Foundation and a “Looney Tunes” jingle package for Cartoon Network with Eddie Horst Music. Doppler has been busy with a campaign for the Thrashers conceived by Blue Sky Productions. Doppler continues it’s relationship with WestWayne with a launch of new business from Saks DGS, producing TV and radio branding work.
