Big Mouth welcomed a new team member, Max Ramming. Ramming comes to Big Mouth after three and half years with CNN Post where he edited promos, feature stories, and documentaries. He is currently work ing on projects for Chick-fil-A, Edge Creative, and Sawyer Riley Compton. He re places Jennifer Fineran, now a freelance editor.
CARE, an Atlanta based humanitarian organization, recently called on Big Mouth to post a documentary about their relief work in Kosovo. Written and shot by CARE’s media department, the documentary will air on television in Kosovo and was edited in both English and Albanian. The piece retells the story of CARE’s two year rehabilitation efforts and the organization’s accomplishments in rebuilding the communities devastated by the turbulence of the last few years. John Lambert created evocative music to accompany the sixteen minute piece and Fineran edited offline. Big Mouth’s Stephen Cocks designed an emotive opening, using black and white photos over color footage.
Greenville based agency Erwin-Penland returned to Big Mouth to produce several TV spots for Verizon Wireless. Barefoot Films’ Director/DP Lance Russell shot 35mm film for the spots. Edge Creative also passed through Big Mouth’s halls to post a video for AFC Enterprises, parent company of such brands as Seattle’s Best Coffee and Popeye’s, highlighting their corporate program, “Honor Code.” Lambert set the mood by composing an original score reminiscent of the “Gladiator” sound track. Ramming cut the four minute piece on AVID, using footage of AFC’s CEO Frank Belatti and other AFC employees.
