After working for years as Creative Directors, Partners Montse Cottingham and David Kelker have opened a shop of their own called Cottingham + Kelker Advertising. The agency will offer ad vertising, graphic design and broadcast services. The two have collaborated through the years on award-winning projects for Fruit of the Loom, The Home Depot, and Bloomingdale’s. The agency is founded on the belief that what it lacks in brawn it makes up for with brains and creativity, and the principle that a small agency can deliver strong strategy and creative without the bureaucracy or cost of a larger agency.

The agency has hit the ground running with two new clients - Just Say Yes, Inc. and Parker Landscaping and Design. Just Say Yes, Inc., a new line of bottled drinking water offered at health food stores and health clubs, has hired the agency to provide advertising and design. Parker Landscaping and Design is one of North Carolina’s largest commercial landscaping architects.
