Turner Fernandez Turner’s (TFT) work for the Georgia Department of Transpor tation (DOT) has been winning awards for over a year now, and just received more. A spot, entitled “Surrogate Dad,” received a general prize at the Radio Mercury Awards. TFT won a $5,000 cash prize as part of the honor. Founder and CEO, Jamie Turner said, “My hat is off to the Georgia DOT for allowing us to do work of this quality. It’s proof that the more innovative a commercial is, the more effective it is.” The campaign is part of an ongoing project to increase usage of the HOV lanes.
