Fitness expert Denise Austin called upon Magick Lantern Creative Services to supply complete production facilities and to shoot the latest “Fit and Lite” programs for Lifetime Television. Magick’s Executive Producer, Bill Stroh meier, directed the programs and super vised all logistic and technical aspects of the shoot. Shooting was done on location at the Homestead resort in Hot Springs, Virginia. According to Strohmeier, despite constant trouble with the weather, the project came in on time and on budget. The audience award-winning film of the Atlanta Film & Video Festival, “The Journey,” was brought to Magick, where Jesenko Fazlagic worked to finish the film just in time for a screening at the Carter Center. Then, down the hall, Bob Gillespie of Oasis Recording put finishing touches on the mix .

Magick’s Digital Artist Claudia Yi Leon debuted her own film, “La Fuga de Renato Urrutia,” at the festival. Set in a tiny Latin American pueblo, the animated short follows a young man’s bittersweet coming-of-age.
