Fleishman Hillard Atlanta has added three new members to its healthcare practice group. Joining the team led by Elizabeth Boineau Lapham, Senior Vice President, are Katie Brazel as Manag ing Supervisor, Becky Steinmark as Account Executive and Amy Brushwood as Assistant Account Executive.

Brazel brings over 20 years of experience in media, public relations and healthcare technology. Prior to joining the firm, she served as Corporate Communications Manager at Healthcare.com, a healthcare technology company. She held the post of Senior Public Relations Manager at Wray Ward Laseter in Charlotte, NC, overseeing work for clients in consumer healthcare, healthcare law and high technology. Brazel also gathered experience in the Boston office of Brodeur Worldwide, where she worked on accounts in wireless healthcare technology and computer technology.

Steinmark comes to the agency from her position as Media Relations Specialist for the Fannie Mae Foundation in Washington, D.C. Steinmark also worked on the Pharmacia & Upjohn account in the healthcare practice of the Washington, D.C. office of Burson-Marsteller and as a press intern for Senators Fred Thompson (R-TN) and the late Paul Coverdell (R-GA).

Brushwood is a recent magna cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Comm unications with a major in PR. Brushwood previously worked at M. Blackmon Public Relations in Athens and was the first participant in Duffey Communications’ summer fellowship program.
