Big Mouth recently designed new packaging for TNT Latin America’s weekly franchise, “Cinema a la Carte,” scheduled to air for the next two years. The first :30 promo, launched in July, takes the viewer through a futuristic 3D city. The city scape features over 100 screens displaying clips from TNT’s movie collection. Animators Stephen Cocks and Chris topher Adornato modeled the 3D city - including buildings, cars, buses, and motorcycles - using Discreet’s 3DS. The promo ends with a revelation of the new Cinema a la Carte logo de signed by Cocks. Original music and sound de sign was created by John Lambert. A :60 generic promo was finished in August.

New equipment upgrades de buted at Big Mouth in June. Discreet’s Flint will run on the Octane 2 platform and handles 1.5 hours of uncompress ed D1 storage. The AVID MediaComp oser suite has also been upgraded and features uncompressed input/output cap abilities along with the Iced After effects package and Boris Red titling tool.
