The Georgia Department of Industry, Trade, and Tourism (GDITT) had a lot of projects on its “to do” list including marketing, advertising, public relations, and interactive services for its economic development, tourism, international trade, and film industry divisions. Three independent agencies have come together as MATCH Team Georgia - MATCH, Inc., Ant Farm Interactive, and Manning Selvage & Lee Public Relations.
The selection followed a 60 day review with 11 initial proposals and four finalists. The annual contract went into effect July 1 and will be eligible for renewal in four years. The team first came together in 1998 for Yamacraw, Georgia’s public/private technology, economic development initiative, to attract broadband technology to the state. MATCH, Inc. will be the lead agency and the project will be managed by Sal Kibler, MATCH President. The contract is estimated at $5 million.
