MATCH Strikes It Hot MATCH Strikes It Hot

The MATCH, Inc. crew has a lot more work in hand after winning some hot accounts and assembling a larger team. New staff members are Steven Lane and Brian Jordan. Lane comes from West Wayne and will fill the position of Account Supervisor. With WestWayne, Lane worked on campaigns for NAPA and Russell Athletic. Also from WestWayne, Jordan, previously a Production and Traffic Supervisor, joins the agency at King Plow as Traffic Director. Jordan also managed traffic at R/L/G.

Creative Loafing (CL) has chosen MATCH as its agency of record. The agency will create a consistent brand identity across CL’s six papers, a chain of alternative news weeklies in Char lotte and Greenville, as well as The Spec tator in Raleigh and The Weekly Planet in Sarasota and Tampa, Florida.

The $1 million account was awarded to MATCH with no formal re view, though Ben Eason, CL’s current President has long been familiar with the agency. This is the first agency relationship for the news weekly since its change of ownership last year.
