Post Modern Editorial brought two Telly awards home, bringing the post boutique’s count this year to seven. CEO, AVID Editor, Matthew Gore received a Platinum Telly Award for cuts of “We All Dream of Oz” and a Bronze for “One Love: Bob Marley Behind the Scenes.”

Gore edited the former with TNT Senior Supervising Producer, David Bryant and TNT Senior Writer Producer, Pamela Craciun. The piece examines the growth of special effects by comparing Ron Howards’ adaptation of Dr. Suess’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” with the classic, “The Wizard of Oz.” The Marley piece promoted the debut of TNT’s broadcast of The Bob Marley Tri bute Contest from Jamaica with words from celebrities and son Ziggy Marley.

AVID Editor Carlton Eden received two Tellies for a promo piece for the net work debut of the Coen Brothers’ “Fargo” and a spot for Rich’s Department Store.

Gore will write and produce 12 PSA’s for the U.S. Army’s campaign “Drive to Arrive.” The PSA’s, instructing on safe driving, will run in over 120 army base theatres. Sony Records/Nash ville brought in 12 of their top country artists for the spots, including Achy Breaky Billy Ray Cyrus, Travis Tritt, and Patty Loveless. The project was shot by Director Karl Horstmann and his crew from TripleHorse Enter tainment.
