Planet Studio LLC was recognized at the Discus Awards, part of the DVDPRO Conference in Los Angeles. The graphic communications firm won Best Instruc tive DVD Award and Honorable Mention for Best Inter active Design for work on the PBS series, “Jazz: A Film by Ken Burns.” The 10 disk series chronicles the evolution of jazz in America, with attractions including a play-list directory of over 500 songs and “making of…” material.

PBS has selected Planet Studio for over six years of development on all Home Video boxes and catalogues, as well as DVD creative services. Plan et Studio has already completed work on “Re turn with Honor, Stephen Hawking’s Universe,” and the Tony winning, “Blast!”
