In spite of the industry slow down, Artisan PictureWorks has played host to a number of interesting productions from commercials to television series. “Queen Latifah was ‘in the house’ for a Freedom Club comm ercial,” reported Stage Manager, Dan Valdez.
Artisan provided equipment and supplemental crews for local and regional producers, teaming with segment producers for shows including “Judge Hatchett.” The company also provided support for promos shot at the Tabernacle. Promos were shot for a shindig honoring new Arista Prez L.A. Reid. On the music front, Artisan also worked on promos for Sony artist, Fuel, in conjunction with Wal-Mart.
The post facility was busied with projects ranging from a national Rhodes commercial to PSA’s for the Boys & Girls Club featuring Shaq uille O’Neal. And if they aren’t busy enough, a new man is looking for more work for the Artisan team. Joe Huggins joined Artisan PictureWorks as Account Manager, leaving Brick House Editorial, which closed its doors in July.
