Studio 101 Wins for Big Brothers Studio 101 Wins for Big Brothers
Studio 101 garnered some recog nition for themselves and for client Big Brothers Big Sisters. The 2000 Annual Report, created for the Atlanta chapter, celebrated the organization’s 40th anniversary.
The event was the National Big Brothers Big Sisters of America Con ference 2001 Marketing and Comm unications Awards. The award, presented to Studio 101, was “Best Annual Report for 2000.” Designer for the report, the studio’s Corwin Carter used duotones with white and silver combining typographic treatment and emotive photographs to catalog the organization’s work over the years.
Studio 101 has a new neighbor. Re/source Real Estate Marketing is busy putting finishing touches on their new home at 1665 Defoor Avenue. The renovated bungalow beside sister company, Studio 101, will accommodate six employees as well as printing, laminating, and bindery equipment. The marketing and design firm, dedicated to the real estate industry, has spent the last two years housed within Studio 101. To accommodate the growth and allow for further expansion, the company moved, staying close enough to its design and print partner.
Besides its new home, the marketing firm has added new services to its competency list – marketing display development and incentive/promotional programs design. Proof of their new capability stands on Peachtree with displays celebrating the Midtown Blue office in the First Union Building. Re/source also developed a leasing incentive campaign for Jones Lang Salle. The program, designed to reward brokers for new leases, was kicked-off with an event at the Atlanta History Center.
Both companies are represented by Laura Nix and Division IV Group.
