Composer Eddie Horst has been at work creating music for a new television show, “Connect TV,” for kids ages 9-13. The shows, 26 in all, feature segments with kids covering a variety of issues. The program is being produced locally by CWK Network, Inc., and is being broadcast in markets across the US.

Horst recently completed music for two new spots for Cartoon Network Latin America. One was a promo entitled “Lovely Lady” for the show “Josie and the Pussycats.” The other was an open for a show called “The Aquaman Action Hour.” Horst was also called on to create a horn arrangement for the song “Excalibur” by the Dungeon Family which will be on an upcoming album produced by Organized Noize. Horst also recorded horns for Arista Records at the new Patchwerk Studios.

With a new PC-based software sampler, Horst has been able to do more in less time. His upcoming schedule includes work for Siemens, “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” (a WB series), and former TLC artist, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes.
