Mountain View Productions recently completed a high concept piece for the General Electric Company. Mountain View concepted, produced, directed and edited a two minute film for GE on volunteerism. The piece will be shown to employees and the community at an upcoming GE event with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

With a goal of reaching the audience on a visceral level, Mountain View decided to let children tell the story. More than 30 children from High Point Elemen tary School were recruited to paint their feelings about their community, while ex pressing utopian views. The art theme provided the canvas to interweave images of GE’s volunteer efforts in schools and with youth organizations.

“We chose to shoot this film from the children’s perspective to get the audience thinking about volunteering in a way they had never before in order to move them to different actions, “ said Director Tom Gliserman. “As with all our films, we aim to create an emotional response to our images.”
