Tech Rentals, Inc. has signed contracts to provide in house audiovisual services for four new hotel properties in 2001, expanding into the inhouse AV hotel services for the southeastern United States.

Tech Rentals was awarded business from the Marriott Beach & Golf Resort in Hilton Head, South Carolina, the DoubleTree Hotel in Buckhead and the Hilton DeSoto in Savannah, site of many motion pictures including ‘”Forrest Gump.”

Tech Rentals worked in conjunction with Chicago’s Manarchy Films, providing site image projection for a commercial featuring Atlanta Falcons Head Coach Dan Reeves. The commercial, for Zocor, a heart medication, was shot in Palmetto, Georgia. This is the second year Manarchy Films selected Tech Rentals for onsite projection services.

Triple Horse Branches into LA

In addition to new equipment for its Atlanta office, Triple Horse Entertainment has gone West Coast. Executive Prod ucer John Hembree said, “It was just the right time for us. In addition to more effectively meeting the needs of our West Coast clients, our presence in L.A. puts us in a better position for development of narrative projects.”

Continuing their work with The Coca-Cola Company, Triple Horse traveled to Charlotte to film a pre-feature entertainment spot. The spot, featuring NASCAR racers, was slotted to play in 13,000 theaters nationwide before “Jurassic Park III” and “Planet of the Apes.” Triple Horse worked in conjunction with Todd-AO’s Mike Tremble who coordinated the shoot and Beth Monahan of Coca- Cola.
